Acceptable Use Policy

1. PURPOSE

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the prohibited uses of the services provided by Hostaffin. This policy is designed to protect our network, our customers, and the internet community from irresponsible or illegal activities. Use of our services constitutes acceptance of this AUP.

2. PROHIBITED CONTENT

You may not use Hostaffin's services to host, store, or transmit any content that:

• Is illegal under the laws of Bangladesh or the jurisdiction of the user.
• Infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights (Copyright, Trademark, Patent).
• Contains child pornography or non-consensual sexual content.
• Promotes terrorism, hate speech, or violence against individuals or groups.
• Contains malware, viruses, trojans, or any other malicious code.
• Promotes illegal drugs or prohibited substances.

3. PROHIBITED NETWORK ACTIVITIES

The following activities are strictly prohibited on our network:

• Spamming: Sending unsolicited bulk email or commercial messages.
• Phishing: Hosting websites designed to deceive users and steal credentials.
• DoS/DDoS Attacks: Engaging in or facilitating Denial of Service attacks.
• Unauthorized Access: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network.
• IP Spoofing: Forging any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information.
• Botnets: Hosting command and control (C&C) servers for botnets.

4. RESOURCE USAGE AND STABILITY

To ensure server stability, accounts on shared hosting environments must not:

• Utilize more than 25% of system resources (CPU, RAM) for longer than 90 seconds.
• Run stand-alone, unattended server-side processes (e.g., IRC bots, mining scripts).
• Run any type of web spider or indexer.
• Use the account as a backup/storage repository (hosting must be for active websites only).

Bursting: Occasional bursts of resource usage are permitted, but consistent high usage will result in a request to upgrade to a VPS or Dedicated server.

5. BULK EMAIL POLICY

Hostaffin maintains a zero-tolerance policy against SPAM. Use of our servers for bulk emailing is restricted. You must use a dedicated third-party transactional email provider for newsletters or marketing campaigns.

6. BACKUP AND DATA LOSS

While we perform routine backups for disaster recovery, Hostaffin is not responsible for your data. It is the User's sole responsibility to maintain local backups of all website content, databases, and emails. We provide tools (like cPanel Backups or JetBackup) to facilitate this.

7. ENFORCEMENT AND TERMINATION

Failure to comply with this AUP may result in:

• Immediate suspension of service without notice.
• Removal of the offending content.
• Termination of the account without refund.
• Reporting to law enforcement authorities where applicable.

Hostaffin reserves the right to determine what constitutes a violation of this AUP in its sole discretion.
